Erman Kalkandelen serves as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Franklin Templeton Turkey. Since joining Franklin Templeton, Mr. Kalkandelen has focused on investments in companies in emerging markets and the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) regions. He has managed the Templeton Emerging Market Smaller Companies Fund for nearly a decade. In the past five years, he has been investing in the fields of venture capital and technology. He is also a board member of companies such as Hepsiburada, Netlog Logistics, Fibabanka, Gözde Girişim, Gözde Tech Ventures, Polinas, and Penta. Erman Kalkandelen holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Sabancı University. During his MBA, he received strategic management training at the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida and graduated with honors from the Department of Labor Economics at the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University.
